FiveFingers, a different shoe

FiveFingersVibram FiveFingers is a totally different shoe. It was named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2007. They have expanded the definition of barefooting:

barefooting (bare•foot•n) n. 1. The exhilarating joy of going barefoot without leaving yourself exposed; 2. any activity requiring unconventional footwear offering the protection of a thin, flexible Vibram skin; 3. an intelligent way to deepen your connection with your natural surroundings.

When I first saw FiveFingers in a newsletter from Addnature (Sweden) I was confused and thought it was a very odd design. But after reading some more it makes sense. FiveFingers is a creative solution, to me an excellent example of crossroads and The Medici Effect.
