Appearances can deceive

Pranayama

I got a tip to use pranayama as preparation for meditation. That of course pushed me to refresh my knowledge about pranayama and I went to Yoga Journal. In the Pranayama practice section of their website you find articles, in Pranayama Poses you find exercises.
I prefer short meditations and practice spot meditations.

Death Pose makes you feel better

Death Pose or Savasana is a useful pose. I came across it recently in a book about juggling, given as an example of how to both get rid of tensions and relax. Savasana is intended to rejuvenate one’s body, mind and spirit. It has a has a tendency to induce sleepiness.
