I have been a rather reluctant user of Twitter because I could not find a tool that was easy enough to use. Twitter itself is so so, I wanted something easier. Along came TwitterFox which is a Firefox extension that notifies you of your friends’ status messages on Twitter.

I like the way Google changes their logo to celebrate things. Today their logo is inspired by Chagall, it is his birthday.
I like Google start page, clean and neat with few distractions. A focused search tool.

GoEnglish.com Pocket English Idioms is a nice site and the site has an Idioms index. I like the way the site looks, take a look at Birds of a feather flock together or You Can’t Judge A Book By Its Cover.

Sometimes you might want to get a site in PDF-format or as a JPG-image. If that is the case then you can use Convert HTM to PDF or Screenshot tool..

In a post at dailybits.com I found Definr, ‘definr - incredibly fast dictionary’. Definr is a neat and fast way to find out what words mean.
There is also a search extension to Firefox, that makes it even easier to use Definr.

I just got Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox and went to the useit.com website. The website looks bare and oldfashioned but it is packed with useful information.

I often use Google as an English-English dictionary, there is an easy way to search dictionaries. Simply type
define: thewordyoulookfor
then click and you get a list of text from dictionaries.
