Poker jargon can be fun but is sometimes rather confusing. At Wikipedia is a long list of poker terms, more or less used and known.
There is also a list of slang names for poker hands. The list includes pocket rockets (two aces), Anna Kournikova (looks good but rarely wins, ace and king) and many more.

Most poker rooms belong to a poker network meaning they share platform and usually also tables and players. Which means when playing at one poker room in a network you play against players from other rooms within the same network. It is a way to create volume but still have different brands.

PokerWorks is a great site that offers online poker room reviews (at the moment 136 reviews) and online poker news. There is a section about poker strategy, an online forum and also a poker directory (links).
